Since we founded in 2007, Periscope Studio Hamburg has rapidly grown into one of Europe’s most successful and innovative audio studios focused on the entertainment and videogame markets.
We’re based within a WW2 submarine engine factory bunker deep underground which we’ve turned into a state-of-the-art studio and recording facility. Taking inspiration from our submariner surroundings and our extensive understanding of sound, Periscope Studio has developed a mastery of how sound and audio works, enabling us to create the right and unique experience for every client every time. Our philosophy is “to delve into the depths of audio”. From our three founding partners, we have built up a team of 8 individually talented and experienced ‘audio submariners’ who together are developing innovative projects, partnerships and technologies enabling Periscope Studio to continually enter new and exciting waters. Our work is based on three pillars: Agency. We provide consulting services, as well as develop ideas and concepts. We take on projects and, together with our partners, help lead them to success. Audio. Our starting point and our core expertise. With our targeted audio production, we turn products into true experiences which convey a myriad of emotions. Technology. We`re confident in our technological know-how and our own software development department. This enables us to find solutions and develop innovative products. Translation & editing
English, French, Italian, German and Spanish (EFIGS) In collaboration with our partners, we realise translations in several European languages. Cross-genre experience with games and editing by native speakers are a matter of course. Dubbing English, French, Italian, German and Spanish (EFIGS) We understand the importance of convincing voice acting and lively language for a compelling game experience. This is what we always strive for. Casting speakers, image-sync or time-sync recording, dedicated dialogue mastering, and well-structured project management ensure that the spoken word hits just the right tone in your game. In addition to German dubbing, we realise the other European language recording in collaboration with our international partners.
